Summer 2012

With the Olympics in full swing from torch relay to the closing ceremony, I had an embargo on London, like a few I avidly avoided it! Having said that Beverley had a series of gigs acrross Yorkshire including Jazz at the Lescar Sheffield, Seven Jazz Leeds and her home town Ilkley Summer festival where it was reported that 'over a thousand revellers came out'

Here are some snaps!

Ian Mann (bass) with Beverley Beirne at Seven Jazz

Graham Hearn (usually piano) and Ronnie Bottomley (drums) at Seven Jazz

Joel Purnell (tenor) at Seven Jazz

Ronnie Bottomley (drums) at The Lescar

The full band this time with Mike Cox (tenor) at the Ilkley Summer Festival

Beverley Beirne (vocals)

Well there has been a bit of a hiatus of posts recently...
Yep I have been busy helping with a project - Seasons of Love - dating back to the initial recordings last year.

Here are some shots from the recording session:

Ian Mann - bass (Adrian Knowles also plays bass on the album)
Ronnie Bottomley - drums,
Mike Cox - tenor
Beverley Beirne - vocals
